7TH MAN MAGAZINE had a sneak preview of the Dunhill SS'10 Mens collection at their showroom ahead of the official Press Day which will take place in November.
We are excited to see Creative Director Kim Jones has kept up his modern and fresh take on Dunhill's heritage by introducing for SS'10 lightweight overcoats in soft fluid fabrics (Luxurious!), trousers with a muted vertical stripe in subtle tie-dye effect (unusual!) and shirts with interesting prints..... on a closer look, the print of one of the shirts actually consisted of miniture cartoon deers!!
The accessories for the SS'2010 collection are outstanding - one of the highlights are the mirrored aluminum luggage that are lined in lush green leather on the inside. Those of you who saw the show may remember a massive stack of these at the back of the runway:
They come in 3 different sizes and are so luxurious and super shiny - I would definitely only carry them as hand luggage on my travels!!
Also really interesting are the undated Dunhill brogue, with the new AD logo featured on the toe.
These brogues, beautifully crafted, come in a array of muted/earthy colors and also in a lace-up boot style:
Autumn has hardly arrived and we are already looking forward to Spring 2010! Ha!!
