Martyn Bal


Martyn Bal, after attending the prestigious Royal College of Art in 1998, Bal was hired by Hedi Slimane at Christian Dior. Under Slimane's wing, together they embarked on a journey to transform Dior Homme into the leading brand it is today.

After Bal's time at Dior, in 2003 Bal assumed overall creative responsibility as creative director at Verri Uomo in Milan. In 2005, Bal worked as men's design consultant at Gianni Versace and was subsequently, hired as Design Director for Burberry. Following this he was given creative responsibility for all Burberry Prorsum's menswear lines.


Martyn Bals collection aims to challenge fashion conventions with an architectural vision, around shapes, fit and proportion. His tailoring is exquisite with beautifully constructed outerwear.
