Styled by our very own New York Editor, Julie Ragolia, Carlos Campos' S/S 11 collection gave us the ultimate antidote to the stiff, sharp structure of city fashion. For his new collection, the 39-year old Honduran-American designer has envisioned a young man traveling through Europe, "Backpacking, but in a chic way". The result is a relaxed and sophisticated line of clothing that would not look out of place on a man sitting in St. Mark's Square, sipping a cappuccino, whilst admiring the view as a flock of pigeons flutter nearby.
Consisting of light, ankle-grazing chinos and turned-up shorts, and complemented by plaid shirts, blazers and fitted jackets; the clothing adds to the casual, relaxed feel with muted tones and soft fabrics. Overall, the collection is a triumph and succeeds in creating the ultimate wardrobe for the stylish, jet-setting gentleman.
