Diesel x Adidas Originals heading for the top

7thMan Magazine was delighted to be one of the first magazines to preview the new sneaker collection of Adidas Originals and Diesel a few weeks ago, a street infused collaboration that was long overdue.

But we weren't the only ones who noticed the design quality & passion that both labels put in those shoes. The amazing sneakers have not even hit stores yet and it looks like they've been attracting a massive star following.

Celebrities in the likes of actor Luke Evans and 'Misfits' star Nathan Stewart Jarret as well as singer & producer Labyrinth have all been spotted sporting the amazing trainers.

The collection goes on sale on the 17th of February in all Diesel stores and Diesel.com but you have to be fast, only 10 thousand pairs are available!

Can you smell success? 'Cause we certainly can!

7thMan Must-Have : 80s runner Originals by Originals David Beckham

You all know how David Beckham is collaborating with Adidas Originals, well we never thought we'd say this but the result is actually quite brilliant, especially the new Adidas ZX 800 DB Trainers for Spring/Summer 2011!!

"For the adidas ObyO ZX 800 DB, collaborators David Beckham and James Bond took a more polished direction. They’ve redesigned the iconic late-80s runner from fine leather and mesh, adding a classy leather tongue label and a bold adidas label on the midsole.”

We were considering buying a new pair of trainers(maybe the new Stan-Smith x Diesel) for casual wear and the redesign of the 80s runner seems to be the perfect fit!

Definitely a 7thMan must have!

Diesel x Adidas Originals collaboration

After their successful denim collaboration in 2008 Diesel and Adidas Originals thought it was time to put their thinking caps on and create a limited capsule trainers collection.

Adidas used their street swagger on Diesel's denim in 2008 but this time it was Diesel who curated  their trademark on five classic Adidas styles. Founder's, Renzo Rosso, son Stefano who took the lead in the re-creation of the project stated that "After the amazing denim collaboration, when Diesel’s know-how was infused by Adidas’ spirit, we are now starting a new chapter of the partnership: The heritage of the two brands will come together, applying our spirit on Adidas classic kicks."

The trainers will go on sale this week in Diesel stores and Diesel.com but the lovechild of the two brands, including an amazing spiked manipulated StanSmith, won't be available for everyone  since there's only 10 thousand pairs manufactured!!

What do you guys think of the new collaboration?
