These days I seem to be so inspiring for so many people, that even designers look to me for innovation and inspiration!As you know I am only joking but I couldn't pass off this once in a lifetime opportunity to showcase probably the best-named sunglasses I have seen in quite a while and trust me they are not bad to look at either!

Robert Geller, the New York based menswear designer who is known for his well executed tailored pieces that are full of swagger, has branched out to sunglasses.

The aesthetic of the 'Andreas' sunnies continue to embody the same clean-lined and refined elements that made Geller the excellent craftsman he really is. Featuring a rounded-out rectangular skeleton, the sunglasses are available in both matte black and slick clear finish.

Robert Geller's Spring/Summer 2011 collection was inspired by the youth of the 1960s and 70s - an era in which young people around the world were awakened to the power they possessed to enact change.

The clothes speak to the contrast of emotions that marked the era of protests in the name of peace. Sharply cut blazers, leather jackets and jumpsuits add an aggressive element while loosely cut shorts and silky fabrics help soften the collection's tone.

Looking closer at the accessories, (the necklaces in particular) an important addition ideal for any form of confrontation.

CFDA Fashion Fund Finalists!

New York - The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund have been set.

The Designers are:

-Robert Geller - Menswear

-Pamela Love - Jewelry

-Eddie Borgo - Jewelry

-Oliver Helden and Paul Marlow of Loden Dager - Menswear

- Billy Reid - Menswear

The fund's selection committee will now meet each of the 10 finalists and visit their individual studios. Each nominee is being asked to complete a design project and to take part in a fashion show held at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles. The winner will be announced at a gala on November 15.

The fashion fund now on its seventh year was created by American Vogue and the CFDA to help promote emerging designers with both a cash prize and a mentoring program by industry leaders.
